Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra
At first site this receiver appears to be the same as a fortec lifetime receiver but looks can be deceiving. Although the lifetime ultra includes all of the features of the lifetime "regular", such as 3,000 channel memory, 5 favorite channel lists and full MPEG2/DVB compliancy, it also adds a great new feature, "blind search" (or, as fortec calls it, "power search"). This allows a lifetime ultra user to find all broadcasting channels on a satellite automatically! If you currently have a fortec lifetime receiver I am not recommending you upgrade but if you are in the market for a free to air satellite receiver you can not go wrong with the lifetime ultra. |
